Port Orleans Riverside BBQ Event

On the shores, or rather deck of the Ol’Man River Pool at Port Orleans Riverside, guests can enjoy a traditional Memorial Day Barbeque tomorrow from 11am to 5:30pm.

There will be lots of games & activities for everyone to enjoy at the pool also.

The BBQ dinner will be served from 11-3, and qs credits can be used.

Grand Floridian to Host Guest Parties

The Grand Floridian is the latest to join the “party”!  We’ve seen a trend of resorts lately offering guests a mid-afternoon break with activities & refreshments, and now Grand Floridian guests will be able to enjoy the “Gone Mad” party on Wednesdays in June, from 8:30-10:30 pm. *note the prime time for Wishes viewing*

The party will be held on the patio outside of the Gasparilla Island Grill.

When Royal Sommerhaus opens on June 21, Princess Fairytale Hall will have some changes. Cinderella & Rapunzel will each have their own side for visiting, and each will be accompanied by a rotating schedule of  visiting princesses.

Disney Cruise Line Returning to New York, California and Texas in Fall 2017

Sailings from popular home ports return for limited-time engagements

CELEBRATION, Fla. (May 24, 2016) – In the fall of 2017, Disney Cruise Line will return to New York with sailings to the Bahamas and the Canadian coast – including a new seven-night Canada cruise. San Diego will serve as a home port with cruises to Mexico, and Galveston will again be a homeport with sailings to the Caribbean and Bahamas.

Muppet Restaurant Confirmed for DHS

With Pizza Planet under reconstruction, much speculation about its rebirth has been making the rounds.  We can now confirm Pizza Planet will be re-opening with a Muppet theme.

Pizza Rizzo will still  be a quick service option with pizza as its main focus.

Expect Pizza Rizzo to open in time for the holidays.
