New Musical Act for Germany
There has been much speculation about exactly what this little kiosk in the Germany Pavilion at Epcot was going to house.
Wonder no more…the yodelers are coming. This will be the new home to Margret Almer & the Bavarian Band.
The famed group is now performing five days a week, bringing spirited & authentic music to Germany guests. Check your Times Guides for performance schedules.
The Muppets Are Coming The Muppets Are Coming…(to the Magic Kingdom)
Beginning in October 2016, the Muppets will star in an all-new live show at Magic Kingdom Park, called “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History.”
Sam Eagle, the fiercely patriotic American eagle who is forever trying to set a high moral standard for the Muppets, will join Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, The Great Gonzo and James Jefferson, town crier of Liberty Square, as they gather outside The Hall of Presidents to present historical tales in hysterical Muppets fashion. From the midnight ride of Paul Revere to the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Muppets will appear throughout the day to share their own unique take on the founding fathers and the birth of the United States of America.
“The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History” will be presented multiple times daily and will feature an original song and wacky Muppets humor.

Turkey Legs to be gone from DHS
As of August 2nd, there will be a few changes to the menus at the Sunset Ranch area quick service locations.
The plan is to offer more traditional Farmer’s Market choices. Fairfax Faire will offer a selection of baked potato options including a tradtional “loaded” potato as well as one stuffed with tri-tip, gravy, & cheddar.
Toluca Legs Turkey will be renamed Sunshine Day Cafe, and offer a menu more reflective of a day at the market. This means, yes, no more turkey legs at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This follows the decision to get rid of them at Animal Kingdom a few months back.
Problems for Disney Cruise Line’s Next Castaway Cay
Back in March Disney Cruise Line announced two new large ships bringing their fleet up to six. In August of 2009 Disney announced it was expanding Castaway Cay their private island playground to accommodate the Dream and the Fantasy which at the time were being constructed. The change was need to accommodate the new ships that hold far more passengers than the first ships the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. With the addition of two new ships Castaway Cay will not be able to accommodate that many ships sailing in the Caribbean at the same time. This leaves Disney Cruise Line with some growing pains primarily how are they going to offer their guests the experience of Castaway Cay if they have so many ships it is impossible to stop there. Magical Winter Holidays with Disney Cruise Line
This holiday season, give a gift that’s both nautical and nice: a cruise on the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy, all decked out with holiday cheer. Starting early November, Disney Cruise Line adds sparkle to each ship during Very Merrytime Cruises, with traditional “turkey day” fanfare, Christmas feasts, “snow flurries” and New Year’s Eve galas. But the best part might just be relaxing on deck instead of shoveling snow. Continue reading “Magical Winter Holidays with Disney Cruise Line”
