Scooterbug to be Exclusive Disney Featured Provider

o-1

The Walt Disney World Resort recently announced that beginning October 1, ScooterBug (the current provider of strollers, ECVs, and wheelchairs in Disney’s theme parks and Disney Springs) will also become the exclusive Disney Featured Provider of these mobility devices for guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
When Disney Resort hotel guests choose to rent through ScooterBug, Cast Members will work with ScooterBug to manage deliveries and returns of rented strollers, ECVs, and wheelchairs so the Guest does NOT need to be present when the equipment is delivered to their hotel; on the other hand, guests who choose to rent from any other third-party company will have to work directly with the vendor to arrange the delivery and return of their rented strollers, ECVs, and wheelchairs.
For reservations made on or before September 30, 2019, vendors who were Disney Featured Providers will be given an opportunity to make arrangements to drop off the equipment with the Disney Resort hotel Cast.

To make way for the exciting updates coming to Epcot as part of the largest transformation in the park’s history, fans recently said a fond farewell to several locations throughout Future World, including the beloved Fountain of Nations.

To honor Epcot’s heritage while also looking ahead to its exciting future, Melissa Valiquette (Epcot Vice President) and Zach Riddley (Portfolio Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering) were joined by two current Epcot Cast Members to collect water from this iconic fountain.

As part of the special moment to celebrate Epcot’s evolution, the vessel from the Switzerland delegation and a beautiful vase (a gift from the Mexico delegation) were brought out from the Walt Disney Archives.

Later in Epcot’s evolution, the water collected from the Fountain of Nations will be re-introduced into one of the new water features to honor Epcot’s past and to celebrate its exciting future.
